FaceTory is an eCommerce K-Beauty skincare start-up that specializes in sheet masks and other products. I began my role at FaceTory as a Marketing Associate in January 2019
In my time at FaceTory, I was able to gain large amounts of knowledge on the beauty industry and social media & influencer marketing. Through continuous analysis of this growing industry, interactions with influencers and press, as well as the opportunity to attend industry conventions, I have been able to absorb and grow in my experience. For this position to have been my first real job, I was extremely thankful for what I have been able to learn.

P I N T E R E S T
One of my main responsibilities at FaceTory was taking over the Pinterest account. Before I joined the company, the Pinterest account wasn't a priority and thus had no content established on the platform. I created and organized boards to help grow traction and in just a few months, I was able to increase their Pinterest follower count from 39 to 3,000, as well as growing the monthly account viewers from 0 to 500,000+.

T I K T O K
With my time at FaceTory, we were able to take advantage of the growing popularity of Tik Tok. Because of the low percentage of beauty brands on Tik Tok at the time, we saw it to be a great opportunity to establish brand awareness on the app. I reached out to 100+ beauty influencers on Tik Tok and established product-based collaborations to generate UGC. In addition, I produced most of the TikTok content on FaceTory's own account.

I N S T A G R A M
During my time at FaceTory, my team implemented a lot of new content on our Instagram to generate more engagement. During my time at FaceTory, our follower count went up from 55,000 to 75,000 and our engagement rate went from 0.37% to 1.25%. Something that helped our growth was increased focus and creativity in creating Instagram stories. I helped in producing product demos, monthly story series, reminders, and even Behind The Scenes content.
