MARKETING PROJECTS

NONPROFIT MARKETING PLAN | JAN-APRIL 2020

During my last semester at Biola, I had the privilege to partner with a nonprofit organization to create a marketing plan for them. I got connected with Michele Ward, the executive director of Clothes The Deal, and spent the semester conducting extensive research for them. This research was used to create a one-year marketing plan which I presented to Clothes The Deal at the end of the semester.

In working on this project during the COVID pandemic, I was able to develop skills of adaptability and perseverance. Despite the hardships I came across, I was able to follow through in producing a marketing plan that would potentially strengthen Clothes The Deal.

MARKET RESEARCH PROJECT | SEPT-DEC 2019

Over the course of 3 months, I developed an in-depth research report on Sala Coffee & Wine Co. which provided a specific and detailed analysis of customer preferences and satisfaction, as well as customer input on new product and service ideas. This project was accomplished through secondary research, in-depth customer interviews, surveys, and data analysis.

In doing this project, I was able to grow in my independence as a marketer and business person and grow in confidence. I learned to trust my abilities in research and communication, able to grow in professionalism and work ethic.
